Do you have it on your car ???
Don't forget that the Jacobs Ignition systems make timing, as well as spark adjustments, and this is NOT good for a FI car.

Yes i have it on my car...
I love it...most improvement after the supercharger....great low end torque.
and actually...it DOES NOT adjust for timing while driving...the only adjustment it does is add more spark power as you accelerate.
The only timing retard it does is when you start the car. This puts less stress on engine and battery.
let me just say...I felt the power after I put it on....
try 1380 MJ's compared to the msd scsi's 105-115

I am curious now..does it really give you more hp..I seen the ads in turbo and sports compact and they give a chart of hp gain...does it really happen in SCed cars?? I got MSD 6A now and truely i dont noticed anything..except for the fact that I had to bust money out to replace my ignition ignitor after the unit screwed up my stock one..

JRCivic: What's wrong with an ignition changing the timing on an FI engine?
I'm itching for a spark cut-off rev limiter and have been considering going whole hog and getting an MSD 6AL-BTM for $320 or so. The plain old rev-limiter is only $95.
Should I forget about the BTM part?
I want to be able to plug in a 6000rpm pill any time I have to hand over my keys

for tegrastylez
it does increase horsepower and torque...This is due to the fact that it gives a "hotter" spark and allows more efficient combustion.
It works great for torque. This is because our stock ignitions don't have the Umph to really put out any good power when the rpms are low.
And
it bypasses your stock ignition so no worrying about screwing that up.....
